- – A guided tour inside the art-déco enclosure of the distillery located in an old textile factory built in 1940.
- – Gin elaboration process explanation.
- – Demonstration on how to elaborate a good Gin & Tonic and of course, Tasting.
BOTANICALS
Made from 100% organic wheat-based alcohol.
Distilled using a hand-made copper still called Rufino. Rawal Barcelona Organic Dry Gin is produced with fourteen first quality organic botanicals.
Through accurate dosages, our Rufino delights us with a distillate where juniper berries confer the essential and familiar character of gin providing refreshing notes of pine leaves and a slight bitterness, leaving the palate dry.
A delicate distillate that balances sweet and bitter tones as well as spiced warmth with floral mellowness, rounded off with a refreshing splash of sea, due to the use of alga Kombu.

ORIGINS
The history of Rawal Organic Dry Gin dates back to the experience gained after more than a decade running a cocktail bar specializing in gins. Through this experience in 2019 I decided to build the first micro-distillery in Barcelona city and create a natural, artisan and organic product.
For twelve years was in this small islet located in Barcelona’s emblematic Raval neighbourhood where I became familiar with the world of distillates and creative cocktails. Submerged in this gin tonic sea, I decided to concoct my own gin, and after some Breaking Bad-style experiments, I decided to study Brewing and Distilling at Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt University.
My dream was to create a one hundred percent local, handcrafted and organic gin. After a lengthy crossing, this dream has come true. It is anchored in this small spot, in this neighbourhood, in this city. However, it has a seafaring spirit. In April 2019, I decided to moor the “Bar Pesca Salada” in order to set off full tilt on this new adventure.

‘Distil’, from the Latin destillare, means to extract one substance from another, drop by drop. Distillates are also known as spirits. Distilling is capturing the spirit of a substance. I would like to think that Rawal Organic Dry Gin is also a distillate of my own experience. Cheers!

Very insightful tour and wonderful gin!
Lo probé puro por primera vez en un bar y tuve que pedir una botella directamente a casa. La ginebra es muy bebible, dulce y desprende un agradable toque de limón, naranja y enebro. Tengo curiosidad por ver qué tal sabe en un gin-tonic.
